ZTE becomes aggressive – 5.7-inch display quad core Grand memo rolls out at MWC2013-used cell phones online..
February 26, 2013Samsung’s galaxy note 2 was hot last year. Now the large phones are getting hotter and hotter. ZTE, one of the mainstream china brands that produce smartphones. In fact, ZTE was doing quite good in the last few years. It ranked the forth globally in terms of phones shipment together with Huawei in the third place. It’s local competitor Huawei released the Ascend Mate which is a 6.1-inch smartphone. The MWC2013 is obviously the war on large displays. LG showed their 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro, ZTE wouldn’t want to lose this battle. The Grand memo is this released with very astounding technical specification.
The Grand Memo, is the first device come powered with Snapdragon 800 quad core processor. ZTE Grand memo has a 5.7-inch 1280 x 720 (too bad it isn’t 1080p, is it). The Snapdragon 800 quad core processor is 1.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 1 mega pixel front camera. The Grand Memo is slightly thinner (8.5mm) than the Ascend P2. Its 3200 mAh battery and Dolby Digital Plus Surround sound technology are their selling points. Besides, this gadget supports 4G LTE network, well it is a bit slower than the LTE Cat 4 but I think is enough for most people.
The Grand Memo will be released in mainland China this March, no information regarding the price has been released at the moment. But usually the china brands won’t skyrocket the price in order to maintain their market share.
